Patriot Place is a supportive housing program for veterans experiencing homelessness. As an active member of the Florida community, we were motivated to donate a 21.87kW solar system for St. Johns main office and Patriot place, a six unit veterans apartment complex.
A 50kW solar system was donated to Sulzbacher Village affordable housing complex. Sulzbacher Village provides shelter and healthy meals for its residents and connects over 7,000 individuals to medical services each year.
We supplied Catholic Charities’ ESOL (English as an Other Language program with 70 Chromebooks, and provided internet access to students for up to 1 year. This donation will support families who do not have the financial resources to purchase their own devices or access internet, which is essential for attending remote learning classes during this COVID-19 era.
We sponsored GroundWork Jacksonville’s Earth Day, a free community event hosted by GroundWork Jacksonville’s Green Team Youth Corps. Guests received a passport to participate in various eco-friendly activity stations which earned them a free lunch sponsored by JinkoSolar.
