Recycle | Reuse | Repower
our commitment to sustainability
Jinko is deeply committed to its environmental responsibilities as a global corporate citizen. Our desire and commitment to sustainable development led us to join the RE100, EP100 initiatives, and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). In fact, Jinko was the first PV player to join the RE100. Additionally, we have taken another major step – we became the first PV company to have its net zero goals approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), committing to achieving “net zero emissions” of GHG in the value chain by 2050.
Jinko has focused heavily on creating modules with low carbon footprints (“CFP”), evidenced by our module CFP certifications completed by Certisolis. Jinko has also been working on the recyclability of our modules by optimizing the use of non-toxic recyclable inputs. In fact, our modules have undergone TCLP testing and ranked #1 of 35 in the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition (SVTC) Solar Scorecard.
